Fly From Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park Full-Day Game Drive & Night Game Drive

Fly from Zanzibar to Selous early morning. Our driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport. Upon arrival in Selous, our guide will meet you at Mtemere Airstrip for a game drive. You'll enjoy breakfast at 10:00 am followed by more game driving until lunch. In the late afternoon, you'll head to the lodge for relaxation. Then, you'll embark on a thrilling night game drive and dinner in the park, offering opportunities to spot wild cats and other nocturnal animals like leopards, lions, genets, civets, porcupines, rabbits, and bush babies.

Bush Walk Safari, Village Tour & Sunset Boat Safari

In the early morning, you will leave for a bush walking safari led by a bushman in the Selous wilderness. You'll return for breakfast before embarking on a village tour where you will get to know various African ways of life. Also, you will get a chance to visit the nearby primary schools and learn how they do their studies. It's an approximate 2 hours activity then you will return to the lodge for lunch. You will have rest then around 4 pm, you will leave for a wonderful sunset boat safari on the great Rufiji river, where you will get to see various water animals including crocodiles hippos, lizards also various species of birds who have built their nests along the river. The best part is witnessing the specific day sunset which is the best view, this activity also lasts for 2 hours then you will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight sleep.

Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park and Visit to Beho Beho Hotsprings

Following breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive within the park, accompanied by a packed lunch, providing ample time to marvel at the scenic lakes and diverse wildlife. Following this adventure, you'll journey towards the nearby hot springs nestled amidst picturesque mountains. You can indulge in a refreshing swim or bath, all while enjoying breathtaking views of Nyerere National Park and its inhabitants. Later, around 3 pm, you will start going back to their airstrip to catch your plane back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our professional driver will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
