Proceed to Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. The morning drive is via a typical African savannah country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle. We arrive in time for lunch and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game-viewing drive. You will spot the herds of elephants up close – a little wonder why the park is the best place in Africa to spot such herds. Amboseli is home to many other species such as Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Maasai giraffe, zebra, and blue wildebeest among others.
