Jambo! Welcome to Tanzania. Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our enthusiastic representative will be waiting for you. They will pick you up and take you directly to Osiligilai Maasai Lodge in West Kilimanjaro for rest, allowing you to immerse yourself in the African and Maasai Land atmosphere. The drive from the airport to Osiligilai Maasai Lodge will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, you will have a warm surprise welcome by Maasai warriors and ndito’s.

Relax and engage in simple daily activities, such as joining warriors in the evening for a lion hunting presentation, Cultural Maasai Singing and Dancing on a sunset BBQ, with Maasai storytelling on camping fire. Diiner and your overnight stay will be at Osiligilai Maasai Lodge.

Walking from Osiligilai to Tingatinga Village
Walking from Osiligilai to Tingatinga Village
Embark on a true Mother Nature safari with a cohort of Maasai warriors armed with spears. After breakfast, start your day with a Maasai warrior for a walking experience through Maasai bushland. Observe wildlife behavior up close and learn about their signs, tracks, and interactions that are not as evident from a distance. Encounter animals like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, small antelopes, and various birds. The landscape, nature, and view of Africa's highest standing mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, make this experience remarkable. Have lunch under an acacia tree or any tree in the midst of nature. Overnight at Osiligilai Maasai Lodge.

Walking Safari through enduimet Wildlife Conservation area
Walking Safari through enduimet Wildlife Conservation area
Continue the walking safari at Enduimet Wildlife Conservation Area. Enjoy a bush lunch during the day. After a full day of walking, Natural walks with Maasai guide and also you will visit Maasai social projects, dinner and your overnight will be at Osiligilai Maasai Lodge.

Enduimet Wildlife Conservation Area to Kambi ya Tembo
Enduimet Wildlife Conservation Area to Kambi ya Tembo
After breakfast, enjoy a final walking experience around Maasai land, bid farewell to local families, and then be driven to Kambi ya Tembo Camp at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and preparing for the trek to the first erupted peak, Shira Plateau. Dinner and your overnight will be at Kambi ya Tembo Camp.

Hike for approximately 5/8 hours, reaching an elevation of 3,962 meters above sea level. Start early from your lodge with a lunch box. After reaching the summit of Shira Plateau, descend and drive to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay at Malkia Tree Lodge.
