Depart from Nairobi after breakfast, pick up will be at your hotel/airport. Drive towards the Mount Kenya region making a stopover at the Equator line crossing point. Proceed with the journey enjoying the beautiful views of Mount Kenya and its lands terrains to arrive in time for Lunch at your camp followed by afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famously known for special 5 and rich many different animal species. Later diner and overnight at the Camp or lodge.

Day 2

After Breakfast you will have the whole day to enjoy the abundance of rare northern specialist such as the Gravy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special). The reserve is also popular with a minimum elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the Miracle Lioness that adapted the baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve). Bird life is abundant with over 450 species recorded. Birds of the arid northern bush country are augmented by a large number. Five species categorized as vulnerable have recorded in the reserve. These are African Darter, Great Egret, White headed Vulture, Martial Eagle and the Yellow billed Ox pecker. Critically endangered species Pancake tortoise is also found in the reserve. There is an optional visit to the Samburu local village to enjoy their cultural practices at an extra cost.

Day 3

Early Morning game to enjoy the sunrise and see the animals are active during the morning hours before coming back for full breakfast at the camp. Exit the reserve and drive back to Nairobi enjoying the good views of scenic features along the way. Arrive in the afternoon and be dropped at your hotel or airport to catch up your flight to next destination.
