Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at JKIA in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative. Depending on your arrival time, we will either take you to your hotel in the city or depart for a drive into the Great Rift Valley and the Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve is world-famous for its incredible density of wildlife and during the Great Migration. All of Africa’s Big Five are here and so much more animals. You may also visit the Maasai village at an extra cost. Here, you’ll get to interact with the Maasai people in their natural surroundings and learn about their culture and their heritage. You'll arrive at the park for lunch at the luxury camp. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive to track elephants, leopards, cheetahs, lions, and buffaloes. You will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

This is a day of unlimited game drives. You’ll enjoy a full day exploring this reserve —one of the most iconic wildlife regions in Africa. You’ll have excellent opportunities to spot some of Africa's most notable species such as lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, and many more.
We can also arrange for a stunning hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara at an extra cost to add some truly intimate touches to your Kenya safari experience. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll have a leisurely breakfast at the lodge then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is one of the several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhinos, buffaloes, and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Your arrival will be in time for lunch after which you'll embark on a late afternoon game drive.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

You'll have a leisurely breakfast at the lodge then proceed for a further drive at the park before departing for the nearby Lake Naivasha, with a stop at Hell’s Gate National Park. You’ll arrive in time for lunch. Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes, and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. In addition to the biodiversity it offers, you can also enjoy mountain biking and rock climbing. You may also choose to book a one-hour boat safari in Lake Naivasha at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. You will go for a short evening game drive then return to the lodge and relax awaiting dinner. The highlight here is that Amboseli has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world. It is home to over 1600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name. After the game drive, you will head back to the lodge, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Amboseli National Park Exploration

Today you'll be treated to a full day in Amboseli National Park. Game drives will take place in the morning and afternoon, allowing you to explore the park and have magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will also see large herds of elephants, renowned for being residents of this park. Amboseli National Park is popular with breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and reliably good elephant viewing. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulfur springs, savannahs, and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Animals to be found at the park include leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, crocodiles, mongoose, hyraxes, dik-diks, lesser kudus, and the nocturnal porcupines.

Day 7

After an early breakfast, you will head for an extended morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park emits the classic Hollywood images of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, Amboseli National Park is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro at 5896m (the highest free-standing mountain in the world). Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephants accompanied by lions, buffalos, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, gazelles hippos, and wildebeests. You will then exit the park and make a return journey back to Nairobi with your drop off at the airport or hotel.
Accommodation at the end of the safari can be arranged at an extra cost.
