Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports various animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant, thanks to a year-round water supply and fodder. Another big draw to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which can be tricky to spot.

We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds are usually seen here. In the late afternoon, we will transfer you to Arusha.
