Arusha to Serengeti

After an early breakfast, set out from Arusha towards the renowned Serengeti National Park, famous worldwide. The journey, though lengthy, offers spectacular views as you ascend the crater highlands, with a quick stop at the rim for an awe-inspiring view of the Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing into the Serengeti, you'll understand the park's name, meaning "endless plains" in the local language. The vast 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers) of plains seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, challenging your perception of distance. This region hosts the iconic great migration, with millions of wildebeests, zebras, and various antelope species, including impalas and Thomson's gazelles. It's also a prime location to spot majestic big cats and other predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

Ngorongoro Crater

We recommend an early rise for an exhilarating morning game drive, offering prime opportunities to observe active wildlife and witness a breathtaking sunrise.
Following the game drive, return to camp for a satisfying brunch before continuing to Ngorongoro, acclaimed as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. Spanning 102 square miles with towering 2,000-foot-high walls, the crater resembles Noah's ark, harboring an array of indigenous East African wildlife. It's a rare sanctuary where sightings of the elusive black rhino are possible. Renowned for its diverse habitats, from rivers and swamps to a soda lake teeming with flamingos, the crater is home to a plethora of wildlife. Its elephants, boasting the largest tusks in the world, thrive on the mineral-rich volcanic soil and lush grasslands, later on our driver will escort you to Arusha Airport.
