Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

On day one of your safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, you will be picked up from the airport, your hotel, or your apartment in Nairobi.

Your 3-day Masai Mara tour begins early, when our professional driver-guide briefs you about the safari and then welcomes you to your exclusive safari 4x4 pop-up roof vehicle. Along the route, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for spectacular views of the surrounding area, which make for excellent photography. From there, head straight to Narok town, where we will stop for last-minute shopping and a bathroom break.

On arrival at Masai Mara, we check in at the camp. You will have time to enjoy lunch and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The game drive will end around 6:30pm when you return to the camp for dinner and a night's rest.

Masai Mara National Reserve

On the second day, you will start with an early breakfast and head to the reserve to look for wildlife and the elusive Big Five. By the time the sun gets hot, you will have covered a lot of ground, which will be the ideal time to enjoy a packed picnic lunch or lunch at the camp. Besides the Big Five, Masai Mara is home to giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras, gazelles, hyenas, and different bird species.

An afternoon game drive is ideal for climaxing your game viewing across the expansive reserve. Return to the camp, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Day two can include a balloon safari early in the morning, followed by a game drive in the vehicle.

On the third day, enjoy your breakfast, then depart on a road trip to Nairobi with a lunch break in Narok town (self-sponsored). The approximate arrival time in Nairobi is 4:00pm. We will drop you off at the airport, home, or hotel. This marks the end of your 3-day safari of magical Kenya!
