1-Day From Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Today's journey begins with a drive from Zanzibar Airport to catch your flight to Arusha, where you'll be met and escorted to Tarangire National Park for an exhilarating game drive. After exploring the park, you'll return to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Lunch and drinking water will be provided throughout the day.

Spanning nearly 3000 square kilometers, Tarangire National Park is renowned for its abundant elephant population and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through its terrain. Particularly stunning during the dry season (June - November), Tarangire boasts wildlife concentrations that rival those of the Serengeti, as animals gather around the river, their primary water source. With diverse habitats and the perennial flow of the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species.
