Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

In the early morning, after breakfast, you will continue your exploration of the vast Serengeti with its endless plains in search of the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for African safaris. It is perhaps most famous for the migration it hosts. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras migrate south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November. They then move west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. The ancient instinct to move is so strong that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can hold them back. After lunch, you will drive directly to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Main Destination:
Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)
