2 travelers on Start dateArusha to Tarangire national park
Following breakfast, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park by your guide after being picked up from your accommodation.
When the national park was created in 1970, it was a colonial hunting reserve. Its wildlife is diverse and it remains highly original. The Tarangire River forms the center of the park, which is about the size of Luxembourg. You can occasionally observe a lot of elephants here. Numerous other animal species, including giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, grant gazelles, warthogs, and baboons, are also visible in the park. You might be lucky enough to see lions, cheetahs, or leopards. The park's surrounds are home to a wide variety of animals, and it is impressive to see the enormous baobab trees there.
After a long game drive you continue to the small town of Karatu, which lies on the outer edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. Here you will stay overnight in a lodge.
