After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through vast stretches of Maasai land, where you may spot Maasai boys herding cattle. You’ll then enter the crater highlands, stopping briefly at the Ngorongoro Crater rim for a stunning view of the caldera. By afternoon, you'll reach the Serengeti, where the park’s name, meaning "endless plains," comes to life. Spanning 14,763 sq. km (5,700 sq. mi), Serengeti is home to over two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes, such as impalas and Thomson's gazelles. The park is renowned for its Big Cats and predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. As evening approaches, you'll head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll leave your Campsite/Lodging and head to the Ngorongoro Crater entrance. From there, you'll descend 600m (2,000ft) to the crater floor for a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world, is home to around 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Thanks to its year-round water and plentiful grazing, the crater supports diverse wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. The park is also known for its large predator population, with lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard commonly found here. After a picnic lunch in the crater, you’ll continue with an afternoon game drive before heading back to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
