As the day progresses, you'll reach Fig Tree Lodge & Campsite, where you'll unwind, relish a delicious dinner, and retire for the night, readying yourself for the incredible adventure that awaits.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you'll journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, in the Great Rift Valley on the eastern side, keep your eyes peeled for a plethora of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, zebras, monkeys, and various bird species. From this vantage point, you'll also catch sight of the rim crater. As you descend into the vast crater of Ngorongoro, expect to encounter the same abundance of wild creatures as seen from the rim. It's an ideal spot to witness black rhinos and lion prides, characterized by their stunning black-maned males.
The crater is also home to numerous water birds, with thousands of brightly colored flamingos often seen flying overhead or congregating by the lakeside. Predators such as leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and members of the antelope family, along with other small mammals, can also be spotted. In the late afternoon, you'll bid farewell to the crater and make your way back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
