Day 1

Depart at 7:00am from Nelspruit.
Cross over the border and make our way to Maputo (you will need a visa which we can help obtain the required information). See the highlights of Maputo on this walking tour, where your guide will take you to some of the city's most important sights, such as the cathedral and town hall. We will pass by a statue of the first president of Mozambique, Samora Machel, depicting her military revolution. The botanical gardens and central market are a must-see during the day. We finish the day off at the train station (which is said to be the most beautiful in southern Africa). Late in the afternoon, we will return to the beach resort.

Day 2
Relaxing at Ponta do Ouro
Relaxing at Ponta do Ouro
Today, you decide what you would like to do. The guide will help arrange scuba dives or swimming with dolphins. Mozambique's dedicated dolphin and whale center has pioneered ethical and responsible marine mammal tourism, specializing in passive, open ocean, in-water encounters with wild bottlenose dolphins. Another option is to walk along the beaches and relax at the resort.

After a relaxing morning and doing some last minute shopping or swimming at the resort, we leave Ponta and drive back to Nelspruit, arriving at 4:00pm. We will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
