Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will catch the flight from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha Airport early in the morning. Around 9:00am, you will be in Arusha city. Our representative will meet you at the airport for a safari briefing, and then our driver will transport you to Tarangire National Park for a full-day guided game drive.

Witness the mesmerizing sight of herds of up to 300 elephants congregating around the riverbed in search of alternative water sources. As you traverse the park, marvel at the diverse wildlife gathered around the diminishing lagoons, including nomadic wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland.

Tarangire National Park is a vital refuge for migratory animals during the dry season and boasts a thriving elephant population year-round.

Conclude the day with dinner and overnight accommodation at a campsite, immersed in the tranquility of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Following an early breakfast, embark on a memorable journey to the crater floor for an extensive six-hour game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for the renowned Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and, with luck, even the elusive black rhino. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the picturesque Ngoitoktok Spring within the crater, where you can spot many other fascinating wildlife, including hippopotami, giraffes, warthogs, baboons, and various bird species. After a fulfilling day of exploration, ascend to the crater rim and commence your return journey to Arusha with an en route game drive through the scenic Mto wa Mbu village. We will drop you off at the airport in the evening to catch an evening flight to Zanzibar Airport.
