Today begins with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s ecosystem is a habitat for over 400 species of birds. The park's cliff tops serve as viewpoints for seeing lions, waterbucks, reedbucks, warthogs, and buffaloes. This is also one of the few places in Kenya where you can see both white and black rhinos.

Later, we will exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus. The lake draws a wide variety of game to its shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps, and colobus monkeys call from the treetops, all while the lake's large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows. You will have an afternoon boat safari on Lake Naivasha where you can view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake.
