Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel very early in the morning and drive to Serengeti National Park for game drives. In the evening, you will spend the night inside the park.

Common animals to be seen in this park are elephants, wildebeests, leopards, lions, African buffalos, rhinoceros, giraffes, gazelles, hyenas, zebras, hippos, wild dogs, impalas, Nile crocodiles, baboons and others.

Ngorongoro Crater

On this day early in the morning, you will explore Serengeti National Park once again. In the afternoon, you will start to drive towards Rhino Lodge. Once you arrive at Rhino Lodge at around 4.30 pm, you will relax at the lodge which has amazing views. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast in the morning, you will descend the 600m high crater walls to the crater floor with your picnic lunch. You will explore this amazing area which supports over 25000 wild animals and the majority are residents. The crater has enough pasture and water all year round. You'll explore until later in the afternoon. You will ascend the crater and drive back to Moshi town or the airport for your departure back home (250km, 5 hrs). End of safari

Common animals likely to be seen on the crater are black rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, elephants, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, hippos, hyenas, buffaloes, blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons, and several species of birds including the heaviest flying bird (kori bustard) and the smallest flying one (larks).
