Johannesburg to Pilanesberg

Your safari odyssey begins in Johannesburg when you hop into a trusty vehicle and head northwest toward the Pilanesberg National Park. You are expected to arrive by 09h00 when a quad bike safari awaits. Between 09h30 and 11h30, you will explore the rugged terrain, wind through acacia groves, kick up dust, and feel the thrill of freedom as you track wildlife.

After this exhilarating ride, it's time to refuel. Lunch is served at the lodge, and then you can slip into your swimsuit and lounge by the pool. As the sun dips low, you embark on our sunset safari in an open safari vehicle. An expert guide will point out interesting sights, and you can click away with your cameras!

Back at the lodge, the aroma of a hearty dinner fills the air. You can share many stories around the campfire before going to bed – perhaps where the distant roar of a lion lulls you into dreams of wild adventures.

As the sun begins its descent, you set off on another sunset safari to experience how the landscape transforms - the grasslands turn amber, and the sky blushes with hues of coral and lavender. Back at the lodge, the aroma of dinner fills the air, and while the Milky Way sprawls above, you enjoy some fine cuisine. Then, it is time to go to bed to enjoy the lodge luxuries for the last time.
