Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara

We will pick you up from your hotel or at the airport and start our journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will pass by the spectacular Rift Valley Escarpment, which provides a scenic view for beautiful photo opportunities. You will proceed on to the Narok town for lunch after which we will head on to Masai Mara National Reserve. We will check-in tour camp, before starting on the adventure with a late afternoon game drive, introducing you to the Masai Plains and its local cast of residents. Later we will return to our camp, for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Your full-day in Maasai Mara starts with breakfast and later proceed on a full day of game viewing adventure within the reserve. This day may also start with a hot air balloon safari, an optional activity, available on pre-arrangement and at an extra cost.

This reserve offers a varied wildlife experience, from the large numbers of wildlife to the scenic and stunning savannah Masai plains, to the Masai culture experience.

As we follow the wildlife road tracking networks, we will get to the Mara River, where you can watch the hippos and crocodiles. Depending on your timing, you can also witness millions of wildebeest crossing this river from the neighboring Serengeti. You will have your picnic lunch in the park and continue with your game viewing with more of the big five and the lesser-known game encounters till sunset. You have an optional activity of visiting a Masai Village at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight shall be at your camp.

The wildlife safari adventure will start with a pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have lunch en-route, with scenic views of Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

This day will start with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This alkaline lake is host to millions of pink flamingos that cover the lake’s shorelines. The Lake ecosystem is also a habitat to over 400 species of birds. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see both the white and black rhinos at the same place, as this park is also a rhino sanctuary.
Later we will exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus almost 13 km’s across. The lake draws a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps and colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lake’s large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows. You will have an afternoon boat safari at the Lake Naivasha where you view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake. Later proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.

We will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park with lunch enroute. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things – majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up-close. On a clear evening you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 6

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, we head to the park for our full day game viewing. Your Kenya adventure safari today consists of panoramic views, large herds of elephants walking slowly on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, buffalos bathing in the swampy areas, giraffes feeding on the treetops, zebras, warthogs, lions, and more wildlife. You will have your picnic lunch under a tree shade and continue scouring this semi-arid park, for more of its wildlife. In the evening, when the clouds open, the snow-capped highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is more visible and gives a fairytale view as you marvel at the elephants roaming at the foot of the Mountain.
Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! As always, your driver guide will be at your disposal for even more game viewing drives.

This Kenya adventure safari continues after an early breakfast, we head to the park for a short game drive. Later we proceed to Tsavo West National Park, known widely for the stunning Mzima Springs and the wildlife found here. This park has a beautiful, rugged wilderness, comprising of acacia woodlands, rocky ridges like the Poacher’s Lookout, which serves as a viewpoint for the herds of wildlife in the open grasslands plains. You may see some of the magnificent wildlife here, among them, red elephants, cheetah, buffalos, leopards, and even threatened plant species like corncrake and the Basra Reed Warbler. Dinner and overnight shall be at the lodge.
