You will start your day with an early morning game drive, followed by a full day of exciting game viewing. The Ndutu Region, located in the northern half of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stretches to the unfenced southern area of the Serengeti National Park. This one-of-a-kind site brings these two incredible wilderness areas together in a compelling way.

Lake Ndutu is a popular game viewing area in Ndutu, where large herds of animals congregate. The lake is an important water supply for wildlife and shares a basin with nearby Lake Masek, which is located immediately east of Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ngorongoro Crater

You will depart Ndutu at 6:00 a.m. with your packed meals and go to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. This vast area is home to a wide variety of East African species, including the rare black rhino. You will spend 5 to 6 hours touring the crater, which covers 260 square kilometers and is around 20 kilometers in circumference. You will eat lunch in the crater before heading to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
