Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your breakfast, you will meet and greet session at the airport or your hotel with our professional driver guide from Magic African Safaris. Here, you will be briefed about the journey and then proceed for the 8 to 10-hour drive with a stopover in Mbarara City where you will have your heavy delicious lunch specifically made for you. En route to your destination, you will have a stopover at the Equator line at Kayabwe for the water experience and take some memorable pictures to spice up the journey. You will proceed to the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking Experience - Batwa Trail - Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi

You will wake up and have a heavy breakfast. Wear appropriate clothing like a long-sleeved shirt, long pair of jeans or khaki trousers, waterproof boots, a round cap, and a sweater to protect you against the bent tree branches of the impenetrable forest and also in case of bad weather. Pack some snacks and drinking water to help you during the 4-hour trek depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. You will proceed to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the do’s and the don’t’s of the park when you are with the mountain gorillas. After the briefing, you will be assigned a park ranger and one gorilla family to trek. You'll embark on your search for the mountain gorillas, during your trek through the impenetrable forest. Later in the evening, prepare for a visit to the Batwa pygmies of the impenetrable forest who were the original inhabitants of Bwindi's impenetrable forest. You'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer Entebbe Airport/ Area of Pickup

You will wake up early morning for a heavy breakfast and prepare for your journey back to Kampala before 6 pm. You will have lunch in Mbarara at Agip Motel and a stopover at Igongo Culture Center. Our guide will give you full information about the culture. Also, you might admire and buy yourself a souvenir at the center and continue your journey to Kampala back to your hotel or airport for departure.
