Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll hit the road to experience the wonderful Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Africa. More precisely termed —a caldera— this is the best place for game viewing in all of Tanzania. An enclosed ecosystem, the caldera is home to some 25,000 large mammals.
Descending the bumpy, winding track toward the caldera floor, you'll note our passage through several different climactic zones until, 600m down, we roam out onto the broad expanse. You can expect to see buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, reedbucks, and Thomson's gazelle. You'll spot our predator friends like lions and cheetahs lounging in the grass and some of the more than 500 bird species that inhabit this area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.
After your extensive game drive within the crater, you'll return to your carefully selected quality tented camp in Serengeti National Park.

You'll dedicate this day to your exploration of the Serengeti, the land of the Maasai, the community who have inhabited this area for millennia. The Serengeti is host to the world's last great terrestrial migration, that of the wildebeest and zebras. This awe-inspiring circular pilgrimage from north to south to west and back again is season-dependent, passing through the terrain where you safari.
On your Serengeti safari, you can hope to spot many creatures. You'll continue to explore the park after our picnic lunch, and our guide will, with his intimate knowledge of the terrain, bring you to some extraordinary landscapes where you will see abundant animals in their habitat.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, you'll hit the road to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara, known for its namesake lake which covers some 70 percent of the park area, is famed for its tree-climbing lions. Your game drive takes you to the lakeshore where, whilst viewing the thousands of feeding flamingos, you can hope to spot monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.
The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. Animals gather at the river and giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeest are often seen. The park is also home to buffalos, zebras, and wildebeest, all of whom are closely attended by a range of predators like Simba the lion king and his cousin, the leopards.
