You will depart early in the morning for Amboseli National Park and arrive in time for lunch. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is known for its majestic herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. It is one of the best places in Africa to see large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can enjoy a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Additionally, Amboseli is home to herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles, lions, and cheetahs. Visitors can also visit the local communities in their nearby villages. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the lodge.

Day 2

Full-Day in Amboseli National Park

Full-Day in Amboseli National Park

You will wake up early to enjoy beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds start to cover the summit. A packed lunch will be provided. After breakfast, you have the option to visit a Maasai village for an additional cost. During the visit, you will experience the singing, dancing, and daily rituals of the Masai people. You will also get a glimpse into their homes and social structure, providing a poignant experience. Despite changes to its habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in Africa for up-close elephant encounters. Watching elephants feed and bathe in the swamps is a highlight of any safari. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will depart for another adventurous Lake Naivasha National Park drive. Lake Naivasha is famous for its high population of hippos and flamingos. Other animals to be seen here include giraffes, zebras, impalas, and waterbuck in the immediate vicinity of Lake Naivasha, around Crescent Island, and Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. Interesting optional activities include a boat safari to Crescent Island and a visit to the Crater Lake Game Sanctuary, where you will see water animals, including birds and hippos. You can also take a guided walk at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Mara in the afternoon, check in and rest before embarking on an afternoon game drive in reserve. Masai Mara is known for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. During the game drive, you will search for the Big Five across the grassy plains of the reserve before returning to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara

Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara

After having breakfast in the morning, you will begin a full-day game, searching for the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for its excellent predator sightings, thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

You will have the opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the Great Migration, during the season from July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebras are magnificent, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie and wait for them.

To enhance your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. This includes visiting the local Masai people in their nearby village and taking a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah, witnessing the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.
