Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll set off early for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, which flows through the park. The park features areas of dense vegetation, including groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, and elephant grass.
The highlight of Tarangire is its elephant families, often seen gathering near the river. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, while predators like lions and leopards watch closely. This area is renowned for its abundant wildlife, particularly the large herds of zebras and wildebeests that navigate the crocodile-infested Mara River during the Great Migration in June and July, and again in September, October, and November.
