Endoro Lodge to Serengeti National Park
We are heading to Serengeti National Park. On the way, we have the opportunity to visit the Olduvai Gorge. This steep-sided ravine is where Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the world's most significant archaeological discoveries in the 1950s. At a small museum here, we can see evidence of our ancestors that dates back 2.5 million years. After lunch, we will drive into the Serengeti itself, where we will spend the afternoon viewing wildlife on the vast plains, which are punctuated by acacia trees and the occasional kopje.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
We have a full day to explore this beautiful park. Our guides will select the best animal-spotting sites based on the time of year. We can spend time at the hippo pool, watching these majestic animals lounge in the cool water, coexisting with crocodiles. We will also observe a significant pride of lions and, during the migration, may find ourselves surrounded by wildebeest and zebras, which often travel alongside the wildebeest.
As we journey across the expansive plains to the kopjes—volcanic rocky outcrops that provide shelter for various animals—we will have a stunning view of the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse landscape offers the ultimate game-viewing experience! We hope to see various plains game, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and lions. With a bit of luck, we may also spot the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as a wide range of fascinating birdlife, from elegant secretary birds to flightless ostriches.

Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
We begin our day with an early morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is unique because it is a conservation area rather than a national park. This designation means that the entire area is managed to benefit both the wildlife and the local Maasai people, who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous animals.
During our time in Ngorongoro, we will have the opportunity to explore the Ndutu Area on a game drive. After our safari, we will stop at the entrance gate to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape. Following that, we will drive around the rim of the crater and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Rhino Lodge.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Finally, we descend into the crater. The crater's walls create a natural sanctuary for wildlife, offering a diverse range of animals to observe, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and, if you are lucky, leopards. The only animal you will not see here is the giraffe, whose long legs make it difficult to navigate the steep sides of the crater. In the late afternoon, we drive back to Arusha.
