Masai Mara

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi, your professional guide will pick you up and depart the Nairobi region for Masai Mara. Drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view of the valley. Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the hotel.

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, which are famously known for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino.

At 4 pm, proceed for an evening game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. Dinner and overnight are at your chosen accommodation.

Masai Mara

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight are at chosen accommodation.

Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife.
