Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru park

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru park

You will be picked up from airport or from your stay hotel and get a brief on the safari you are about to embark on. Head towards Nakuru town through Limuru which is home to a number of tea plantations, the reason being the climate is gentle and the rainfall is regular and reliable. You will also pass by the Great Rift Valley. You can stop for some time to take in the scenic view. Proceed to Ziwa Bush Lodge and arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, head to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is located in the volcanic zone, and the lake water has high salinity, which is suitable for the growth of plankton, which is the staple food of flamingos, so it is known as "the paradise of flamingos". Lake Nakuru National Park is a park established to protect avian birds and is known as a "bird-watching paradise".

Day 2

Lake Nakuru NP to Masaai Mara NR

Lake Nakuru NP to Masaai Mara NR

After breakfast, depart to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve and arrive in time for lunch. Masai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeests traverse their plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek Rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of the Maasai people.
After lunch, relax a bit at the camp and enjoy its amenities and then proceed for a game drive at 4 o'clock. Get to see different wildlife species including the Big Five with the help of an experienced guide who will make your safari memorable. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Day 3

On this day, you can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the Mara and get lunch served in the shores of river mara or morning and afternoon game drives. You can opt for an early morning baloon safari ride paid directly and between the game drive, there could be an optional visit to the local Maasai village paid directly too. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of giraffes, those clumps of bushes, a pride of lions, and the rock that moves a rhino lumbering out of your way. You are also likely to encounter a family of cheetahs or a herd of elephants crossing the path in front of you.
