Day 1

Embark on a drive to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stop at the Great Rift Valley, where you can take pictures of the beautiful escarpments before continuing through Narok Town. The reserve remains one of the few places where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that once roamed across all of Africa. The Masai Mara, part of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, is famous for the spectacular seasonal Great Migration and is home to the “Big Five.” We will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. The Masai Mara is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where you have an excellent chance of spotting the “Big Five” during a morning game drive. Some cheetahs are so accustomed to vehicles that they may seek shade under them or even climb onto the roof for a better vantage point to spot prey. We will have lunch at the Mara River migration point, surrounded by the breathtaking Mara scenery, with hippos and zebras grazing nearby. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Today we’ll drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a beautiful wildlife haven located at the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The park hosts over 500 bird species as the soda lake is a birding hotspot, making it an ideal location for bird enthusiasts. Lake Nakuru is also a designated rhino sanctuary, hosting a population of over 40 black rhinos and more than 60 white rhinos. The park's most famous residents are the flamingos, however, which at times can number up to two million, creating a stunningly beautiful pink band along the lake’s shores. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4

Start your day with an early morning game drive. The wildlife tends to be most active in the cooler morning hours, which increases your chances of spotting predators and other elusive animals. After the drive, enjoy breakfast at a designated picnic spot within the park. In the afternoon, continue with another game drive, focusing on the park’s diverse bird species. Lake Nakuru is a birding hotspot, and is home to flocks of pelicans, flamingos, and many other species. In the evening, unwind and take in the tranquil surroundings, watching for passing wildlife or simply relaxing at your accommodations. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5

You will conclude your stay in Nakuru with a short, early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Your safari then continues to Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake and a popular tourist destination in Kenya. You'll arrive in time for lunch and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Alternatively, you can opt to book a one-hour boat ride at an additional cost, which offers you the chance to see hippos and enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highlands. Later, you may visit Crescent Island, a private sanctuary on Lake Naivasha that gained fame after being featured in the 1985 movie "Out of Africa," which highlighted the region's natural beauty. Located within the Great Rift Valley on the lake’s eastern side, the island supports a number of bird species that roam between it and the lake. It is also home to wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and waterbucks.

Day 6

After an early morning breakfast, we will head back to Nairobi with a stop at Hell’s Gate National Park, also known as the “walk on the wild side.” It is the only park in Kenya where visitors can walk and bike among wildlife. In addition to the park’s diverse wildlife, including raptors, you can engage in optional activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, and visiting a natural spa (cost not included). After exploring Hell’s Gate, we will continue our journey to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location.
