Your journey commences from your Zanzibar hotel, serving as the embarkation point for your safari adventure. Transportation will be arranged to transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, where you'll board a 1.5-hour flight. As you depart from Zanzibar Airport, prepare to be captivated by the sweeping vistas over the Indian Ocean, the rugged Tanzanian hinterland, the majestic Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, and the expansive Serengeti plains, all unfolding beneath you before touching down at Seronera Airstrip. The aerial panorama promises an unforgettable spectacle.
Upon landing, within a swift half-hour, you'll find yourself comfortably settled into a sturdy 4x4 safari vehicle, complete with a convenient pop-up roof, primed for immersing yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti. By midday, a picturesque picnic beckons, offering a well-deserved respite to relish lunch and stretch your legs amidst the untamed splendor.

Day 2
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha

After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Around midday, enjoy your lunch at the crater's base. Ngorongoro is recognized as one of the eight Wonders of the World, and the crater is a vital sanctuary for a wide range of wildlife.
You will likely spot large elephant bulls and the vulnerable black rhino. The crater is also home to substantial herds of wildebeest and zebra, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and nearly 400 bird species.
After completing your afternoon game drive, head back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Mvuli Hotel.

After indulging in your morning meal at the hotel, embark on an adventure to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, complete your registration at the village office, marking the commencement of your journey. Your initial destination is the enchanting waterfalls, just a brief 40-minute stroll away.
Following a serene interlude amidst the stunning scenery, meander back to Materuni Village in the company of your guide. Here, relish a traditional Chagga lunch, accompanied by the opportunity to sample our local banana beer. Then, immerse yourself in the coffee experience, learning about the intricacies of coffee cultivation, drying, roasting, and processing. You'll even be invited to participate in grinding the coffee, all while being treated to the captivating rhythms of Chagga songs and dances—a delightful immersion into local culture.
As the day winds down, depart for Kilimanjaro International Airport in the evening, where you'll catch your flight to Zanzibar.
