Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, venture into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game tour. Later, return to Karatu for an overnight stay at Octagon Lodge. Enjoy provided meals and water throughout the day. Often hailed as the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is a colossal caldera formed over 2 million years ago. Spanning over 19 kilometers wide and boasting 600-meter tall walls, it hosts a diverse array of habitats including acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and vast grasslands. Home to over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, and the elusive black rhinoceros, as well as an abundance of birdlife, the crater offers unparalleled wildlife sightings. After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up for a journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a captivating game drive. Later, you'll return to Arusha and head to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy provided breakfast and lunch, along with drinking water for each person daily.
Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and large troops of baboons. Despite its small size, the park boasts an incredible diversity of birds and animals.
