From Zanzibar to the Safari Bush

Your adventure begins with a scenic transfer from your Hotel and ferry ride from Zanzibar across the water to Dar es Salaam. After disembarking, you are greeted by your safari driver and guide, who welcome you and brief you on the journey ahead. Leaving behind the bustle of the coast, you travel overland through the countryside toward one of Tanzania’s classic wildlife destinations.

Having Lunch and enter the game area in the afternoon for your first safari drive, a thrilling introduction to the region’s rich animal life. Driving through open plains and along river edges, you look for wildlife — towering giraffes grazing on acacia leaves, graceful antelope moving across the grasslands, elephants lumbering through tree groves, and perhaps lions lazing in the shade. Your guide helps you spot and interpret the behavior of the animals you encounter.

After your game drive enjoy a delicious dinner and relax to the sounds of the African night.

Exploring Wildlife and Return to Zanzibar

The second day begins in the heart of the park, where the bush awakens and wildlife becomes active. This is a prime time for animal sightings — predators and prey crossing paths near waterholes, herds grazing in sweeping grasslands, and birdlife flitting among the trees. Your guide continues to offer insights into animal behavior and the ecology of the landscape.

After, you return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for the journey back, you travel overland once again toward the mainland ferry terminal.

Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam, you board the ferry back to Zanzibar. The crossing gives you a final moment to reflect on your safari experience as the coastline comes into view.

You disembark back in Zanzibar, where your safari concludes and you are dropped off at your hotel or preferred location — carrying memories of wildlife, wide open spaces, and a vivid taste of Tanzania’s natural beauty.
