Today marks the commencement of your safari expedition! We'll collect you from your accommodation in or near Arusha to kick off the adventure. Throughout the 2.5-hour journey, you will soak in the breathtaking vistas of nature, landscapes, and nearby communities. Our itinerary includes a comprehensive day-long exploration of Tarangire, renowned for its abundant elephant population, majestic baobab trees, and African pythons that scale trees. As the day draws to a close, you'll head to the Farm of Dream Lodge. Here, you can begin with a refreshing swim in the pool!

Today, you will rise early with the dawn, and following your morning meal, you will embark on a journey towards the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. This vast crater stands as the largest unbroken caldera on Earth. Within its confines reside approximately 30,000 majestic creatures of considerable size. The crater's natural boundaries provide a haven for a plethora of wildlife across the conservation area. Among its inhabitants dwell the renowned Big Five, including the elusive African black rhinoceros, alongside other remarkable species such as hyenas and zebras. As the day draws to a close, you will make your way to Serengeti, where you will rest for the night at the serene Kon Tiki Serengeti Lodge.

Day 3

On the third day, you'll journey towards the Serengeti. Following a few hours of driving, you'll reach the entrance gate of the Serengeti. Following lunch, you'll embark on an afternoon safari within the stunning confines of the park. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast expanses of savannah and wooded landscapes. The park is celebrated for its annual migration, which involves approximately 1.5 million herbivores and their accompanying predators.

As the day draws to a close, you'll reach Africa Safari Ikoma. Situated amidst the Serengeti Seronera, Grumeti, and Ikorongo Game Reserves, its location is ideal for exploring the Serengeti. It serves as an idyllic retreat, offering opportunities to unwind while observing birdlife or witnessing a herd of impalas grazing peacefully in the vicinity of the camp. Alternatively, you can simply relax and absorb the ambient sounds of the African wilderness.

During the migration period, you'll have the chance to witness the awe-inspiring sight of numerous wildlife species making their journey across the Mara River —an unforgettable spectacle! As the day comes to a close, you'll spend the night at Kon Tiki North Serengeti Camps, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the wilderness.

Day 5

North - Lake Natron

North - Lake Natron

Following your morning meal, you will journey towards Lake Natron. The route from the northern Serengeti is remote, boasting a desolate, unearthly allure and an unparalleled sense of vastness and ancientness. The pathways traverse unexplored Maasai territory, offering glimpses of small settlements and imposing peaks amidst a rugged, charred terrain.

During the period from June to November, approximately two million flamingos congregate at the lake. En route to your accommodation, you may pause to visit the thermal springs. Your accommodation for the night is at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The establishment features a pool seamlessly integrated into its surroundings, offering breathtaking vistas of the adjacent Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a volcano that remains active. Be sure to revel in the scenery! Additionally, from the lodge, you can embark on a brief 10-minute stroll to the lake accompanied by your guide.

Lake Natron - Manyara

In the morning, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Several Maasai villages are found nearby and your guide for the hike will be a Maasai. After lunch, you’ll head to Mto Wa Mbu where you will stay overnight at Africa Safari Lake Manyara.
