From Dar es Salaam to Mikumi NP

Early in the morning at 05:00 AM after refreshing breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Mikumi National Park, with a packed lunchbox included, the drive will take you about 6 hours to be in Mikumi.

You will arrive at 11:00 AM and start on a game drive. After lunch, proceed with an afternoon game drive. This park is home to elephant, lion, wild dog, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, eland, hartebeest, crocodile, lizard, and other residents. Unveiling Natures Treasure: As you explore different parts of the park, diverse ecosystem, ranging from open grasslands and acacia woodlands to rocky outcrops and seasonal waterholes. Each area offers a unique glimpse into the rich biodiversity of Mikumi. You can also observe the more than 300 species of birds found in this park.

In the evening you will arrive at your comfortable accommodation, Mikumi Cottage/Mikumi Bandas inside the park to unwind after a thrilling day of exploration and enjoy a delectable dinner.

Mikumi NP to Udzungwa mountain + Sanje waterfalls

Enjoy an early morning/sunrise game drive at 06:00 AM. Return for breakfast, then continue with the morning game viewing. This is the best time for game viewing as it's the time when most of the killings take place.

Later at 08:00 AM, you'll drive to Udzungwa Mountain with a visit to Sanje Waterfall with a beautiful, scenic view. Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters, a unique experience offered by this park and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the fertile Kilombero Valley, known for its agriculture significance after having a full enjoyment at Udzungwa Mountain National Park, you'll descend down the Bastian Camp for dinner and overnight.

Visit Maasai Village and Return Back to Dar es salaam

Before breakfast at 06:30 AM, experience a tremendous early-morning visit to a Maasai village near Mikumi National Park. Here, you will learn about their lifestyle, enjoy dances, and even buy some Maasai gifts for your family.

After having full experienced Maasai tour, you'll have breakfast and later start driving back to Dar es Salaam at 10:00 AM, unwinding after a day filled with adventure and natural beauty.
