Day 1

Arrival at Nyamsika Campsite

Arrival at Nyamsika Campsite

First day you arrive at Nyamsika Camp, between mid-day and evening. Depending on time of arrival, an optional short walk in the vicinity (1-2 hours) of the camp, followed by a sundowner at Nyamsika Viewpoint with superb views.

Accommodation in a comfortable fully equipped mobile tented camp with the following amenities: Furnished 3x3 meters+ canvas tents, private veranda, comfortable custom-made mattresses/beds, beddings, toiletries, towels, mirror, wash basin, toilet, shower, solar lights and charging. Other amenities include dinning gazebo, resting areas, hammocks, mini library, mini bush bar with cold beverages, and the fire place. Health and delicious meals served and freshly prepared at the site.

Professional staff presence all the time to take care of your needs.

Day 2

Nyamsika Campsite

Nyamsika Campsite

Early breakfast at 6:30 am, optional packed breakfast. Morning bush walk starting at 7am towards Te Okot area lasting 2.5-3.5 hrs. Terrain is open and slightly more hilly with some gullies and Borassus Palms. Good chance to see groups of elephants, and variety of antelopes. Early lunch around 12 pm, followed by siesta to relax and soak in the wilderness. Afternoon game drive or another shorter walk at 4-5 pm, followed with a sundowner at Nyamsika view - the best way to end your day.

Day 3

Pendero campsite

Pendero campsite

Morning walk starting at 7am, walking toward the River Nile (4-5 hrs.). Sandals are recommended for some wading through shallow water. This riverbed is frequented by wildlife from waterbuck, buffaloes, kobs, hartebeest, elephants, and an occasional hyena. Lots of footprints to observe. The boat will be waiting for us at the end of the walk to take us on a 2-hour ride to the bottom of the Falls. Packed lunch on the boat. Arrive to the camp late afternoon, rest or optional shorter walk later.

Day 4

Pendero campsite

Pendero campsite

Morning Bush walk starting at 7am around Pendero Woodland in the open terrain (2-3 hrs), with lots of expansive views, excellent for seeing herds of antelopes of buffaloes.

Afternoon: Game drive or a short walk to the nearby gorge to see black colobus monkeys or water pans for birdlife.

Accommodation in a comfortable tented camp with the following amenities: Furnished 3x3 meters+ canvas tents, private veranda, custom-made mattresses/beds, beddings, toiletries, towels, mirror, wash basin, toilet, shower, solar lights & charging. The camp includes dining gazebo, resting areas, hammocks, mini library, bush bar with cold drinks, and fire place. Health & delicious meals served and freshly prepared at the site. Day 5

Departure from Pendero to your next destination

Departure from Pendero to your next destination

Spectacular early morning walk downstream the Nyamsika Riverbed again (2 hrs.), starting higher up after descending a very scenic valley from our camp. Expecting to see again plentiful wildlife. End of the walk is at Nyamsika Viewpoint, ending by vehicle pick and departure mid to late morning back to Kampala or your the next destination.
