This morning our driver will pick from your accommodation, drive you to southwestern Uganda through Mbarara, you will make a stopover at Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Take a visit to Igongo Cultural village. This is more rewarding and amazing as you visit the Ankole museum. A lunch break is at lake view. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community Haven lodge.

Gorilla tracking
Gorilla trekking begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with your rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, hiking boots because of the slippery hill slopes. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the Primates for a group you have been allocated to. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours depending on the location and movement of mountain Gorillas. But it’s well worth the effort. After reaching them you will be given one full hour to be with these giant amazing apes see how they leave, move, play, mate, and most of their lifestyles in the jungle. After you will Return to the lodge for Lunch, travel to the Southern Part of Bwindi for overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Gorilla habituation experience
After breakfast our driver will drive you to the Headquarters of Rushaga Sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorilla Habituation Experience. This activity involves walking up steep and densely forested hills before finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. Upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you will stay with these giant apes for 4 hours enjoying observing their life style participate in the process of making them used to human presence without threatening or reinforcement but neutral actions directed not at altering their natural wild status including imitating their behaviors by chewing on vegetation, mimicking their vocals, walking on knuckles leading to their reduction in fear of human presence as you do photography. After this exercise we shall travel back to the park headquarter to receive your certificates of participating in this process before going back to our lodge Rushaga Gorilla camp for relaxation and dinner.

Bwindi to Kampala
This morning after your breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a stopover at Mbarara for lunch, then continue to Kampala/Entebbe to catch up on your evening flight back home.
