Today you will go on an early morning game drive, a time when the animals are most active and you can enjoy the stunning African sunrise. After the game drive, we will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to reach our next camp at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Today you will go on an early morning game drive, a time when the animals are most active and you can enjoy the stunning African sunrise, in the Ngorongoro Crater. After the game drive, we will ascend from the crater and make our way to a camp just outside the park.

Where the northern plains of Tanzania meet the escarpment of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara is a wonderful place to spend a day on safari. The highlight of the day may be getting up close and personal with the elephants that have made this park famous, along with observing many baboons and one of Africa's rare populations of tree climbing lions. Amidst the forests at the foot of the escarpment and the lake that gives the park its name, you can enjoy the rich birdlife and the chance to witness predators ambushing their prey.
