1-Day Hike in Mount Kilimanjaro-Marangu Gate/Mandara Hut

We'll pick you up in Arusha and drive you to the entrance of Kilimanjaro National Park, a 1-hour journey to Marangu Gate. As you trek through the tropical rainforest, keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. Our expert English-speaking guide will enrich your experience with insights about Kilimanjaro and the diverse flora and fauna. You'll also have the chance to chat with fellow climbers returning from the summit, igniting your own aspirations for a future climb.

After the 3 to 4-hour hike, you'll reach Mandara Hut (2,700m) for a well-deserved rest and lunch. Your guide will lead a short 15-minute hike to Maundi Crater, offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Finally, you'll descend back to the gate and return to your hotel.
