Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

During this season, thousands of animals migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to Tarangire River for water. Tarangire, spanning 2,600 sqkm, is famed for its vast herds of elephants and buffalo. Lions, giraffes, impalas, wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles are also commonly sighted, along with the unique fringe-eared Oryx. Additionally, we visit Olduvai Gorge in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, 180 km from Arusha, renowned for significant archaeological discoveries, including Homo habilis remains. Following a game drive in the park, we return to Mto wa mbu for camping.

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Serengeti National Park via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, traversing picturesque highland farmland. As we leave the highlands behind, the landscape transforms into the untamed expanse of the Serengeti, characterized by vast grasslands stretching endlessly. Our destination is the Seronera section, renowned for its abundant wildlife attracted to the Seronera River. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon wildlife drive. Dinner and overnight camping await at your campsite.

After an early breakfast, you'll set off for a morning game drive, enjoying wildlife sightings throughout the day. By afternoon, you'll return to camp for lunch and prepare for departure. As you exit the Serengeti, you'll embark on a 2-hour drive to Simba Campsite, located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

**Note:** Many animals can often be spotted around the campsite.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region

After an early breakfast, you'll descend into the crater in search of the elusive black rhino. While spotting rhinos can be challenging, the crater floor offers great visibility for observing other wildlife. Following lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive before ascending the crater and returning to camp. Later, you'll pack for the journey to Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara.

Day 5

Lake Manyara to Arusha

Lake Manyara to Arusha

After breakfast, you'll head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its large flamingo population and elusive tree-climbing lions. You'll embark on a game drive to spot a variety of birds and, with a bit of luck, catch a glimpse of the famous lions. You'll also visit the Hippo Pool for a close-up view of hippos and explore the hot springs, all while continuing your game drive to observe a range of wildlife, including buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, and monkeys.

After the tour, you'll return to your hotel in Arusha.
