Central Serengeti National Park (Big Five Spotting)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a game drive with a picnic lunch. On this day, your guide will cover the best parts of Central Serengeti that you could not explore on the first day. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti is a world-renowned national park in northern Tanzania, covering an area of around 15,000km² (5,800mi²). It is home to over 1.3 million wildebeest, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area has massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. Additionally, the Northern Serengeti supports abundant resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelope.

Ngorongoro Crater (Black Rhinos) and Return to Arusha

On this day, it is best to leave the hotel as early as possible to see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours. Enjoy breakfast and lunch in the natural wonders of the world.

You will set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at 6:30am and arrive inside the crater after about an hour.

Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania's most famous and interesting national parks because it has the highest number of animal species per square kilometer. You will have the chance to see buffalos, elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and feline species such as caracals and servals. You will arrive at the picnic site by lunchtime, where lunch will be offered. Afterward, your safari will continue.

By the afternoon, you will have finished the safari and driven back to Arusha. We expect to arrive around 4:00pm, but we can arrive earlier depending on your next destination.
