Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your exciting safari experience will begin today at Arusha. Our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. It is estimated that your safari to Tarangire National Park is about a 0230-hour drive. Expect to enjoy the view of beautiful nature, scenery, and landscapes, while en route as well as local communities. On your first day, you will have a full-day game drive at Tarangire National park which is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. In the evening go to Africa Safari Lake Manyara where you will overnight in a furnished comfortable safari tent with a private bathroom.

Day 2-3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After a few hour drive we will arrive at the Serengeti gate. After lunch, we do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah, forest landscapes, and migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. At the end of the day we arrive at Africa Safari Ikoma. Located between Serengeti Seronera, Grumeti, and Ikorongo Game Reserves the location is perfect for exploring the Serengeti.
The next day we will start the day with a game drive in the Ikoma Wildlife Management Area. In the afternoon we will explore the area by foot with a ranger (walking safari) which will end with a sundowner. This will give you an exciting experience at Ikoma.

Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro highlands

After your breakfast, you will start the game drive from Ikoma heading to central Serengeti. You will enjoy the game drive exploring the beauty of Serengeti. Later in the afternoon, you will depart from central Serengeti for the Southern Serengeti / Ndutu area which is famous for the wildbeest migration calving season.

Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, wildlife is abundant throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra, and elephants to name a few. In the afternoon we drive to Africa Safari Lake Manyara where we spend another night.

Day 6
Lake Manyara National Park

Today we will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water, and hot springs. We do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and if you like to walk you can also book a 2-hour walking safari. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos, and other animals from a good distance. In the afternoon we drive back to Arusha where we arrive before dinner. You will overnight at the Africa Safari Arusha Hotel.

Day 7
Air transfer from Arusha to Zanzibar
Air transfer from Arusha to Zanzibar
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel to Arusha airport for your air transfer to Zanzibar. When you arrive at Zanzibar airport our local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to Konokono Beach Resort. Depending on your arrival time later you may visit Stone Town, visit the slave market.

Visit prison island

Our local guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Prison Island where you will spend your day with many activities. Prison Island also known as Changuu Island, is a small island located about 5.6 km northwest of Stone Town in the Zanzibar Archipelago of Tanzania. It has a rich history, initially used as a prison for rebellious slaves in the 1860s and later as a quarantine station for yellow fever cases. Today, it’s a government-owned tourist resort known for its collection of endangered Aldabra giant tortoises, which were originally a gift from the British governor of the Seychelles. This tour includes snorkeling, photo opportunities with the giant tortoises, and learning about the island’s history.

This is a private island located off the northeast coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania. It's renowned for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life, making it a popular destination for snorkeling, diving, and relaxation. Here's a suggested itinerary for a day trip to Mnemba Island. Start your day early by being picked up by our guide at your accommodation to the departure point for Mnemba Island tours. After arriving expect various activities like snorkeling, and unwinding on the island's powdery beaches. Lie back on a beach towel, soak up the sun, and listen to the gentle lapping of waves against the shore. You will enjoy a delicious lunch served on the beach, featuring fresh seafood and local delicacies. In the evening you will be taken back to your accommodation and prepare for the next day's activities.

Our guide will pick you up early after your breakfast to commence your tour of Jozani forest. This is an excellent way to experience the natural beauty and biodiversity of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our guide will lead you through the forest. Jozani Forest is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including the endemic and endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkeys. Spend the morning exploring Jozani Forest and observing the playful antics of the Zanzibar red colobus monkeys. Keep your camera ready to capture memorable moments as you watch them swing from tree to tree. Take a leisurely nature walk along the forest trails, admiring the towering trees, lush vegetation, and tranquil surroundings. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the natural beauty of the forest and thereafter on a guided mangrove boardwalk excursion to the nearby butterfly garden, where you can admire a colorful array of butterflies in their nature. As the day comes to an end, you will depart to your hotel.
