You'll depart from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning for an exciting journey to Masai Mara, a scenic five-hour drive away. This renowned destination is eminent for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. It is particularly famous for its spectacular annual wildlife migration and serves as a sanctuary for numerous animal species. Masai Mara offers one of Africa's premier opportunities to encounter the Big Five.

Upon arrival just before midday, you'll proceed to your accommodation. You'll check into your camp, indulge in a delicious lunch, and take some time to relax with a siesta.

At 3:00 p.m., you'll set out on a thrilling game drive in the park, where you'll have the chance to witness the diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. Afterward, you'll return to your camp to freshen up and unwind. You will enjoy a delightful dinner before retiring for the night at Drunken Elephant Camp.

You'll enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes and seeking out its iconic inhabitants. With a picnic lunch, you'll have the opportunity to relish in the wilderness. During the migration season, from July to September, the Masai Mara grasslands are teeming with wildebeest, zebras, and other antelopes, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle. You'll marvel at the great herds as they traverse the grasslands in search of fresh grazing grounds, accompanied by predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Keep your eyes peeled for hippos basking along the Mara River's banks, and watch in awe as Nile crocodiles patiently await their next meal.

As the day draws to a close, you'll retreat to Drunken Elephant Mara Camp, where a delectable dinner and an overnight stay await.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha's Freshness

You'll start the day with a hearty breakfast. You'll bid farewell to the beauty of Masai Mara and set off on a scenic journey to Lake Naivasha.

Upon arrival, you'll check in at Elsamere Lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a scenic tour of Hell's Gate National Park. Ride a bike inside Hell's Gate, marveling at the towering cliffs and rock climbing with an optional visit to the Mvuke Spa for a swim in a naturally heated pool.

In the evening, you'll indulge in a high tea experience and a stroll through the grounds of Elsamere and delve into the legacy of Joy and George Adamson with a visit to the museum or a short film presentation, offering insights into their pioneering conservation efforts to Kenya wildlife.

Later, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay at Elsamere Lodge.

Following lunch, you'll embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park, where you'll have the opportunity to encounter the park's iconic wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep your camera ready as you search for Amboseli's elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and many more, all in their natural habitat.

After an unforgettable wildlife viewing experience, you can witness the African sunset, then return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening to unwind and recount the day's adventures under the starlit sky.
