When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, we will be there to pick you up and transport you to Karibu Heritage House. If you arrive early, you may have the chance to explore Arusha city with a guided tour, visiting attractions such as the renowned art gallery, Cultural Heritage Centre, local market, and Maasai market.

Day 2

Game Enroute to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your adventure to Serengeti will commence. The journey will be on a long and somewhat rough road, offering an exciting game drive along the way. Passing through the crater highlands, the road will eventually unveil the expansive Serengeti plains.

The drive usually lasts six to seven hours. If the weather permits, a brief stop will be made at the crater viewpoint after the Ngorongoro gate. Here, you can take a 10-minute break to admire the Ngorongoro Crater from above before continuing towards Serengeti.

A break for a hot lunch will be taken at the Serengeti Naabi Hill gate, followed by checking in at the park for an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, you will head to your campsite for dinner and to spend the night.

At around 6:00am, you will depart from the campsite with your breakfast in hand for a sunrise game drive, the prime time for animal activity. Following a picnic breakfast in the wilderness, you will embark on a game drive and then head back to camp for a hearty lunch. Afterward, you will pack up the vehicle, leave the camp, and journey to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. There, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night at a Public Campsite "Ngorongoro Simba Campsite".

You'll kick off your day by climbing aboard the safari vehicle at 6:00am and making your way to the crater with a packed lunch in hand. This exceptional location is home to a diverse array of East African wildlife, with the rare black rhino being among them. With some luck, you might catch a glimpse of one. The crater covers a vast area of about 260 square kilometers and has a diameter of around 20 kilometers, so expect to spend around five to six hours exploring its wonders.

Once your exploration is complete. Following that, you'll commence your journey back to Arusha, with an estimated arrival time of 5-6:00pm. If you prefer, you can choose to be dropped off either at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport or at your designated Hotel in Arusha.
