On the second day in the morning after your breakfast. Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve for a whole day. In the morning is usually the most popular game viewing time in Ndutu. During the early hours’ temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. While Ndutu is an excellent game viewing area throughout the year, the best time to visit the Ndutu plains is from the end of December, when the Great Migration herds begin to arrive from the north, until April, when millions of wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras begin their journey northwards again. Due to the seasonal rains, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra can be seen all over these plains at this time of year.

A good morning, we head to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara National Reserve is to Kenya. The Central Serengeti, lying at the heart of this spectacular national park, is the most popular region in the reserve for its abundant wildlife, large numbers of big cats and quintessential Serengeti landscapes of acacia-studded savanna. Resident wildlife makes this part of the Serengeti a fantastic year-round destination, but the months of April to June and October to December, when the herds of the Great Migration pass through the area, are when it’s at its peak. Central Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro crater conservation area
On the firth day, we head to the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is also known as ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden. With its incredible beauty, rich diversity of eco-systems and sheer number of wildlife, it is easy to understand why. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5-million-year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. Being the largest inactive and intact caldera in the world, this area is unique in many ways. A caldera is a volcanic feature formed by the eruption and collapse of a volcano into itself. Formed about two to three million years ago, the crater is more than 610 meters deep and covers a floor span of 260 square kilometers.

Ngorongoro crater - Lake Manyara National Park
Set out for an early morning game drive in the Lake Manyara. The park is also home to another forest; an evergreen, jungle like area full of monkeys enjoying the many remarkable tall trees. The most dominant of them is the sycamore Fig tree. Other equally stunning species at lake Manyara are the Baobabs that you will find all over the rift valley wall. The lushness of the forest derives from groundwater seeping down from the extinct Ngorongoro Crater volcano. This underground life artery can be experienced directly in the hot springs in the south of the park where sulphurous water bubbles out, steaming hot to touch.
