1-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Hike Experience

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

We will pick you up from Arusha and drive to the gate of Kilimanjaro National Park, which is an hour's drive to arrive at Marangu Gate. During the hike, you will walk through the tropical rainforest and see a variety of vegetation, including black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. Our knowledgeable English-speaking guide will provide you with information about Kilimanjaro and explain the different plant and animal species you will see. You will also have the chance to meet other mountain climbers who are descending from the top, and perhaps some of them will share their experiences with you, and inspire you to dream about your climb.
After the 3 to 4-hour hike, you will arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700m) where you can rest and have lunch. Your guide will take you on a short 15-minute hike to the Maundi Crater, where you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will then descend back to the gate from where you will return to your hotel.
