Upon landing at Kilimanjaro Airport, your designated driver will be waiting to greet you and escort you to Arusha for an overnight stay and dinner. Relax and unwind in your accommodation, preparing for the safari adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may receive a pre-safari briefing upon arrival or early the next morning before departing for your safari excursion.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast today, you will be picked up from your lodge and driven to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes in tow. The journey covers about 110 km and takes around 2 hours from Arusha. Tarangire National Park is vast and renowned for its large elephant herds. It's also an excellent spot for observing lions, leopards, and a rich array of birdlife, all set against a backdrop of diverse landscapes. One of the park’s highlights is the stunning Silale Swamp in the south, which consistently attracts wildlife due to its reliable water source. The Tarangire River also flows through the park, providing essential water during the dry season, drawing animals from across the region for incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. After a full day exploring the park, we will head to Migombani Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
