The lake also supports a variety of wildlife, including hippos, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo, which can often be seen grazing along its shores. After breakfast at the lodge, check out and head to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Arrive, have lunch, and embark on your afternoon game drive. The park covers an area of 392 square kilometers (151 square miles) and is known for its vast savannah plains, acacia woodlands, swamps, and the seasonal Lake Amboseli. It offers breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially in the early morning when the mountain's snow-capped peak is often visible.

The Savannah ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephants, rhinos, Hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, Buffalo, and diverse plant and bird species. As the temperature cools, wildlife becomes more active, with herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roaming the vast savannahs. Keep an eye out for predators like lions and leopards as they emerge from the shadows. The drive also takes you past stunning landscapes, including the Yatta Plateau and the flowing Tsavo River.
