It is a haven for bird watchers, with over 400 species of birds recorded in the area, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans. The lake also supports a variety of wildlife, including hippos, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo, which can often be seen grazing along its shores. After breakfast at the lodge, check out and head to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Arrive, have lunch, and embark on your afternoon game drive. The park covers an area of 392 square kilometers (151 square miles) and is known for its vast savannah plains, acacia woodlands, swamps, and the seasonal Lake Amboseli. It offers breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially in the early morning when the mountain's snow-capped peak is often visible.
