You'll savor a leisurely breakfast, then check out of your room before driving to Kilimanjaro Airport. Arusha bustles with the finest Tanzanian cuisines, making it an ideal opportunity to indulge in authentic traditional dishes like roasted fish and a fresh vegetable salad, complemented by matoke (plantains).
Later, a drop-off at JRO Airport will mark the end of an unforgettable tour.
Day's Note: If you are scheduled for a late evening flight, we can recommend activities to keep you engaged in Arusha, such as a tour of The Cultural Arts Centre, a Project of Tumaini University Makumira to promote the unique cultural heritage of music and dance in Northern Tanzania. On offer are high-energy performances of traditional and fusion dancing and drumming. Visitors to the center can also take part in workshops on drum making or traditional Tanzanian cooking, as well as learning to dance and drum, and tours of traditional Maasai and Meru bomas (homesteads).
