Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am. After meeting the guide, chef and other clients, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (a 2-hour drive). The park is famous for its diverse landscape.

Tarangire is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the country. The park provides unique opportunities to observe the interaction between elephant families, and there is plenty to see throughout the park.

Later, we head to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small verve monkeys will try to have a taste of your lunch, but there is nothing to worry about.

After lunch, we will proceed with the game drive. We will exit the park at around 4:30 pm and head to your accommodation at Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater at 6:15 am on a journey to spot the Big Five. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater. Most animals will be easier to spot as the floor of the crater is open and wide. The crater has rivers, several swamps, and a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains.

It's also famous for its massive elephants, the largest in the world, with huge tusks. The Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

After lunch, we will do a game drive and ascend the crater to start the trip to Kizumba Campsite for a warm shower and relaxation.
