Hamar Tribe
The Hamar people (also spelled Hamer) are a community inhabiting southwestern Ethiopia. They live in Hamer woreda (or district), a fertile part of the Omo River valley, in the Debub Omo Zone of the former Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region. They are largely pastoralists, so their culture places a high value on cattle.

Kara Tribe and Dassench Tribe
The Karo (or Kara), with a population of 1,000 to 2,000, is the smallest ethnic tribe in Ethiopia. Known for their attention to appearance, the Karo have extraordinary body and face painting rituals where they use colored ochre, white chalk, yellow mineral rock, and other natural resources to paint themselves.

Arbore Tribe
The Arbore are an ethnic group living in southern Ethiopia, near Lake Chew Bahir. The Arbore people are pastoralists. With a total population of Above 15000, the Abore population is divided into four villages, named: Gandareb, Kulaama, Murale, and Eegude.

Mursi Tribe, Aari Tribe
Surrounded by mountains between the Omo River and its tributary the Mago, the home of the Mursi is one of the most isolated regions of the country. Their neighbors include the Aari, the Banna, the Mekan, the Karo, the Kwegu, the Nyangatom, and the Suri. They are grouped with the Me'en and Kwegu by the Ethiopian government under the name Surma.
