Welcome to Uganda! As soon as you arrive, you will be greeted with a warm welcome at the airport by your personal driver-guide, who will be your companion throughout your safari adventure. Your journey begins with a seamless transfer to your hotel, where you will check in for an overnight stay. Take this time to settle in and prepare for the thrilling experiences that await you.

Depart Entebbe and start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park (approximately 4-5 hours drive).
Stopover at the Equator crossing for photos and souvenir shopping.

Evening

The trek's duration can vary from 2 to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas' location, which is influenced by their overnight stay.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular savanna park in Uganda and a prime destination for spotting lions, including the unique tree-climbing lions. This makes it an ideal choice for a Uganda Wildlife Safari. The park boasts a remarkable diversity of habitats, including lakes, savannah grasslands, forests, and wetlands, providing a home to the country's largest variety of large mammals.

Tree-climbing lions are a highlight, and while their behavior is not fully understood, it is believed they may climb to escape biting tsetse flies at ground level or to avoid the heat and enjoy a cool breeze in the branches. Regardless of the reason, witnessing these lions perched in trees is a fascinating sight and a highlight of any visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning today we depart for morning game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, when there are high chances of seeing elephants, buffaloes, lions, and a variety of antelopes, along with other wildlife typical of a Uganda safari. Comeback for full breakfast and an hour of relaxation before heading out for a boat cruise.

A boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which typically lasts for 2 hours, offers visitors the opportunity to see a variety of yawning hippos in the water, as well as water birds, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, Uganda kobs, topis, waterbucks, bushbucks, reedbucks, duikers, mongooses, swamp antelopes, spotted hyenas, warthogs, and forest hogs. The cruise provides a unique perspective on the park's wildlife, including some species found in the more challenging routes in the south.

Come back for lunch and relax till afternoon at 4pm when you depart for another afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight.

Day 7

Kibale National Park

Early breakfast and depart with a game en-route to Kibale. Arrive mid-morning for registration and briefing is recommended.
Check in at the lodge for lunch and relax till 3pm when we begin the Bigodi Swamp Walk. 4.5km guided swamp walk will take you through wildlife corridor. Be sure to meet different species of birds, unique vegetation, wild plants and beautiful flowers as well as animals.
You will also spot some of the 8 primate species found in this forest with a hike up to the top tree house fixed high in the canopy will give you incredible views of the forest.
